Getting Ahead in a Just-Gettin’-By World is a 16-session program designed to help individuals and families move from instability to self-sufficiency.
Based on the acclaimed Bridges Out of Poverty framework, this curriculum equips participants with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to create lasting change in their lives and communities.
Participants, called "investigators" are seen as experts on their own experiences with poverty. Together, they explore:

The root causes of poverty and its impact on families

The hidden rules of class and communication

The eleven key resources that influence stability and success
Through hands-on learning and guided reflection in a safe, supportive environment led by a certified facilitator, investigators identify their goals, assess their progress, and build a personal plan for a more prosperous future.
